Everyone at Tara Animal Hospital was very nice and explained the procedure they would do on my kitty. They kept in touch during the surgery. They let me know after surgery that my kitty was doing well. The next day they called to follow-up and make sure she was doing well; they answered my questions precisely. I am very pleased with the care they provide.

My puppy was acting very erratic and losing control of his bowels. They told me to bring him in immediately or go to an ER. After seeing the tech He was able to see a Dr within the hour. Took blood draw and X-rays. Within another hour I was taking my pup home with meds and peace of mind. They also called me back the next day to follow up. I love that they worked me in so quickly based on the urgency instead of just telling me I had to go to an ER. Very hard to find vets that will adjust their schedule to help out their patients in crisis. I really appreciate that they were able to see my pup so quickly and for a lot less than an ER would’ve charged me. I also love how they remember my pup and are very caring, empathetic and reliable. Hard to find these days.

Three weeks ago we adopted Dora. It had been almost 5 years since we lost Sunny and on Saturday we had a sick girl and needed an unplanned visit. Tara welcomed us back into the Tara family as if we had never been away. Special thanks to Jo for her quick response and to Dr. Dobbs who calmed our Dora, examined her, and provided treatment. I cannot say enough good words about Tara Animal Hospital and their staff! I first visited their practice in 1989 and have been with them ever since (with the only break being when we were pet-less).
