My first visit to Taylor Cosmetic and General Dentistry Monday, September 26. My last dentist retired and left me and his other patients with a dentist who was not up to my standards, so I was really hoping Dr. Taylor would be a good dentist. I am happy to say she is a GREAT dentist! Her staff, Kiersi, Lauren and Michelle (I THINK it's Michelle) were warm, helpful and very professional. They even serve chilled bottled water, which was great for such a hot day.
Since this was my first visit, I had my teeth examined, xrayed, and then they took color photos of each tooth, which was a first for me and a great way to view my mouth.Then they cleaned my teeth using a new process, which I forgot the name of, but my teeth feel really clean.
I needed to have a wisdom tooth pulled, so Kiersi, the receptionist contacted an oral surgeon in my plan and arranged the appointment for me while I was still in Dr. Taylor's office.
So Dr. Taylor is officially my new dentist! I recommend her to anyone. She puts you at ease and is very informative, going over each procedure and option before continuing. She is also very price-conscious, and lets you know up front what is covered and what is not.
My next visit will be to have my teeth whitened, which I've been wanting to do for a long time.
NOTE: Dr. Taylor suggested I rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide every night, followed by a thorough rinse. It's nice to know that someone with all the latest technology is open to sharing with her patients an old-school procedure for keeping your teeth clean! Thank you, Dr. Taylor.
