My first experience 3 years ago was superb! We had to have the redwood deck totally refinished. Great communication and informed about the process. Redwood deck looked great, especially after several years of trying to take care of it ourselves. Supervisor came out after it was done, inspected it, and touched up areas that he was not satisfied with. The second experience was the opposite of that. First told that the precious year that maintenance would be $500-600 dollars and billed for $700! My bad as I should have confirmed that quote before starting the process. The company sent out only 1 person on second day when staining needed to be done, he left without letting us know he was done, and areas against the wall were not stained and a main board on the deck that received most traffic needed another coat. When we communicated needing someone to come out, it took several weeks for that to happen. On this third experience, while I was booked very quickly for the job, I asked for a price quote at the same time as booking dates having learned from the previous year's experience. Over the course of a month, I emailed the company five times my need for a confirmed price quote.. Three days before the crew was to arrive I received the quote with the maintenance price having gone up to $750. The crew was great, two people showed up each day, and the job was well done. However, I will be looking at getting quotes next year by other companies, especially ones that are closer to our residential area.

I am sorry for your experience this past two years. Unfortunately, your last 2 maintenance visits have come right in the middle of our busiest season (May & June). While that is in no way an excuse for bad communications, it can certainly strain a small business like ours. Again, you should not have had to wait so long for a confirmed price and I guarantee that it won't happen again. In fact, I can assure you right now that your maintenance price will be help at the $700 we charged you in 2016. This way, you won't be in doubt next year when it comes time to schedule.
