My part order took over two months to get the part. No update status calls were provided. Confusion of customer notification very apparent. Just one phone call to my answering machine. No personal contact. Couldn't find the part (took over an hour) three days later when I came to pick it up. Suggest a parts log book with date ordered, customer person to person contact, dedicated parts area with part tag number attached to part (same number as log book). log part when received and customer notified person to person and pick up date. Suggest weekly or bi-weekly review and highlight on time green. delays in yellow, and deliver promise dates miss in red. Owner should ensure contact on delays and call personally on all delivery misses.
