Tekniques Salon is a full service hair salon in East Brunswick, NJ. Clients come from all over New Jersey for hair cuts, hair color, updos, Keratin smoothing treatments, and more from owner and stylist Patti Meade and her talented staff of stylists.
Our goal is to provide professional service by listening to our clients and guaranteeing everything we do. Our salon prides itself on our great customer service and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. All of our employees function as a team, working together to provide a wonderful experience at Tekniques.
We offer a non-competitive environment so that you may always enjoy working with anyone of our talented service providers. We as a team are constantly learning so that we may bring the latest trends back to you in regards to hair, makeup, and waxing.
Every service we provide comes with a two week guarantee. If you decide that you aren't happy with your hair for any reason, come back in and we'll take care of it for you. Nobody else offers a guarantee like that!

I usually won't bother to post reviews one way or the other but this time I felt compelled to do so. I only wish I read a review like the one I'm about to give because it would have saved me years of anguish over BAD haircuts! I myself worked as a hairdresser for 35 years and always took great pride in the work that I did. Over the years I'm sorry to say there are many in my profession that simply don't or won't take the time to educate themselves or care enough about the quality of their work. Anyone looking for a GREAT haircut needs to see Patty the owner of Techniques Salon. I've been to some of the best N.Y salons and I can tell you honestly that Patty's ability and knowledge of hair and the way her salon operates is of the utmost highest standard I've found since I had my own business. The time, care, and quality of service she offers is one I've been searching for. I'm never quite sure how well or bad my haircut is until I get home and check it myself. I was jumping for joy when I discovered the cut was so perfect it took me 10 minutes to dry and style. My hair hasn't looked this great in years and as many women know, when your hair isn't right, nothing else you do will make you feel beautiful. I feel as if this salon is a "best kept secret that someone needs to SHOUT from the rooftops so others will know what I found. Let me also tell you that I've not been paid to write this review, nor do I know anyone personally from this salon. I hope anyone reading this will not only go but run there....you'll find just what I did and as a professional who knows this business first hand, I can honestly tell you it's one of the best haircuts I've had!!!!! I need to also add that my nervousness was heightened trying someone new yet again and Patty and her staff were so warm and friendly that my nerves were calmed quickly. I felt as if I was being taken care of and someone was finally listening to me and my needs. Patty also spoke to me in great detail about all of her services and products which I found to be very informative and when I go back wouldn't hesitate to purchase some of the products she used on my hair that I found to be perfect for my hair. I hope this review helps others who want to look their best.
