I have been coming to this location for more than a decade. I made the mistake of trying a different optometry office once and I don't know why, but I won't do that again. I love the atmosphere here. The decor is calming and spa like. I always gotta look for the beak fish in the aquarium. The staff has always been amazing, as well as the doctors.
I miss Constance. I hope she is enjoying her retirement. Please send her my best wishes. The staff was quite funny offering to text her pics of my choices to get her thumbs up or thumbs down. However, Darnell is carrying on her legacy quite well, although a bit differently.
I appreciate his assistance and his humor in helping find frames that fit my many preferences. I also appreciate his knowledge about savings options that my insurance plan offers that I wasn't aware of. It only cost me 50% (or rather saved me 50%) for me to get 2 pair of prescription specialty lenses and frames that I actually wanted, but thought I couldn't afford. I tend to go all out on the eye wear. Unfortunately, my vision (pun totally intended) is always much bigger than my budget including my what my vision care plan pays. Story of my life.
Clearly, he's passionate about what he does because if somebody is caught (offender will remain anonymous) wiping her glasses with her t-shirt, said offender will be warned by him popping himself at her first offense...the next offense...well I live life on the edge so I had to try it.
Needless to say I love this place, the decor, and the staff. Patience is not one of my better virtues. So waiting on my new eye wear is driving me insane.
