I adopted my dog with a broken foot and anxiety. At that point I had her for five days and wanted to see how badly her foot was broken, and what the other health problems she had. She was healthy. The nurse and the doctor were very helpful. When I gave her to the nurse, she went very nervous and scared, when I got her back she was at ease. I trust that the people there know what they were doing. It was when I left that I grew unsatisfied. I was told that I'd be charged $120 for my dog's X-rays. I handed my card over, and when they gave it back I drove off and went home. When I checked my account and receipt I realized they charged $178. I was so annoyed because no one has the right to say they are going to take a certain amount of money from my account and then lie and take another amount. I felt this was very dishonest. When I called the hospital I spoke to a receptionist who then let me speak to a manager. I thought I was getting an explanation and apology, but ended up having to plead MY CASE of why they shouldn't have taken extra money from my card. I found out that my dog had abnormal bone growth instead of a broken foot from an unhealed childhood injury. Nothing was done that day, but a checkup and an X-ray. I told the manager I would return the medicine that I was charged for without knowing the price and that I was going to be charged, and had to drive all the way back to the hospital to give it back, seeing she didn't need it because she didn't get anything done (my dog). When I got back I asked the receptionist if I could get a receipt. She was rude and told me " I have to process the refund first" Why would I think otherwise? She was speaking to me like I was an idiot. If would have given this place 5 stars, but I think there was some sneakiness going on and I really didn't like that
