The staff and vets are extremely kind and caring, and are very transparent about prices and ask before any procedure that will have extra charges (which is good because this clinic is quite expensive). Because of covid, you have to drop your pet off at the front door and communicate from your phone in the car. I completely understand this protocol but it makes for an extra terrified cat and a more difficult exam, and I really wish they would allow one vaccinated+masked owner back with the pet.

One concern that I have is that every time I have gotten my cat back after an appointment, he has absolutely reeked of perfume from being held. I am allergic to heavy perfumes and have had a bad reaction both times, and it is so strong that the perfume stays in my cat's fur for well over a day. Please create a office policy that prevents anyone working with the pets from wearing perfumes/body sprays, because if it is bad enough to cause an allergic reaction on a human, it must also be really strong for the cat who can't get away from it.

My pet was seen quickly and efficiently by the doctor and Julia is a sweetheart! The doctor communicated with me about next steps and provided great responses to my questions.

I'm always impressed with the Boston Cat Hospital. The staff are all so kind and prompt to get back to me with answers to my questions. Their follow-up game is on point: I have received calls weeks after my appointments to remind me to give one of my cats their second dose of a medicine. Even though there are vets closer to me, I choose the BCH for their quality of care!

Not a good experience at all. Not knowledgeable on how to handle a stressed cat. I will be finding a new clinic.

This was our first time at BCH and we were establishing care. While the whole dropping off at the door thing isn’t ideal (a necessary evil for current COVID situation), Dr. Hazzard took time to talk me through my cat’s history, any concerns I had, as well as offering me helpful information and recommendations (without being pushy or upselling at all). I appreciated the good care they took of my cat and he came home relaxed and ready to play, which is a testament.

Dr. Cosman was incredibly helpful and friendly and our cat's routine visit was as painless as possible. He gave great suggestions without being pushy of any one treatment course. They even gave us some toys to take home! Really excited to have them so local.

Annual checkup was excellent service from the entire staff at Boston Cat Hospital. They even did a little grooming of Ashley, who gets matted fur on her chest. Although the Covid restrictions don't allow us to come in side, I got a full review from the vet who gave me a very detailed analysis of what to watch for (our 2 cats tend to be a little overweight).

The new payment system (via phone) worked very well.

We also got our needed distemper and rabies shots and we should be all set for another year!!
