This veterinarian lacks bedside manner and empathy for the human counterpart to her patients; coming across both aggressive and judgmental. She was put off when I requested to call her back so I could speak to my family regarding the treatment options and cost of care for our geriatric cat. I wasn’t prepared for the financial burden that resulted from this office visit yet felt backed into a corner and strong armed to make a decision.

The vet incorrectly put in my cat’s medical record that she had labs drawn last July at a different facility when labs were actually drawn this July. The previous vet’s recommendation was to have repeat labs within two months. Due to personal reasons, December was the quickest I could get our cat back into a vet. I felt judged by the doctor that I delayed follow up care for three months longer than what was was recommended.

The Cat Doctor ordered a geriatric lab panel with sedation and sedation reversal for after the collection. A few hundred dollars in addition to the office visit and vaccinations that my cat originally went in for. I was told that I would receive the results the next day but have yet to hear back from the office.

I’m left feeling taken advantage of. That it was more important to charge me for services than to provide treatment. To top it off, they spelt my cat’s name incorrectly.
