I work as a home aide for the elderly and I had some knee and back pain. I wanted something natural to help get in back in my routine. Dr. Colaizzo did that for me. I don't have pain anymore and I can get back into helping my clients 100%

I called in to schedule an appointment with Dr. Collaizo. I went to my appointment, sat in the room, and a man came in introducing himself as my chiropractor. I was unhappy about this, as I feel I was brought under false pretenses. I specifically came to this office because she is the only female chiropractor I found in the area.
To make matters worse, this guy was ridiculous. He had me sit down on the table, and he told me to dangle my legs so he could tap my knees. Well, he did this and my knee had a normal reflex. Then, he had me move back on the table and when my knee didn't react to the tap, he told me I have bad reflexes. Of course, my leg isn't going to move if it's not dangling. After this, he took an object that looks like a pizza cutter with ridges and rolled it in my legs. Then, he asked me which side I felt more. I told him they felt the same. Then, he pushed harder on one side than the other and when I told him the right side, he understood it as my left because he was sitting opposite me. When I tried to correct him, he just proceeded with the exam rolling the thing on other parts of my leg not really listening to my responses and then concluding I have nerve damage. When I looked at him surprised and said, "nerve damage?," he responded, "no, I didn't say nerve damage. I said nerve interference." When I asked him what that was, he told me, "I notice you have AT&T cell service. You know how the wires in the cable are all bunched up? Well? That's how your nerves are." Baffled by this response, I was told that the appointment was over and I had to pay. Needless to say, I am not going back to this place. I felt like someone reached into my wallet, took money, and all the while looked me in the eye doing it. I do think chiropractic care is helpful, and I have seen wonderful chiropractors, but any chiropractor will tell you that not all of these practices are alike. It seems this one is all about making absurd diagnoses to make you feel like you're really damaged, so they can take advantage of you.

Dr. Colaizzo has a great bedside manner and is a warm and caring person. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns and genuinely wants to help you feel better.
Some time had passed since my last adjustment and I was developing some back and neck pain (along with tennis elbow). Having recently had a baby and returning to work, my time was limited. I wanted to find a place that was easily accessible on my lunch break. After finding 3 in my immediate area, this one had the best reviews. After my first visit, I knew I picked the right place. Dr. Colaizzo took the time to explain to me what was going on with my body and the benefits of regular adjustments. After I had X-Rays done, she went through them with me very thoroughly and discussed what our plan of action would be to correct the issues. She is very flexible with my hours and considerate to my budget in working out different payment options and values.
We did try several different options as far as treating my tennis elbow. Though they were definitely effective, we decided that it was best if I tried something more aggressive. I really appreciated the fact that she knew when to let someone else 'take the wheel' for that complaint (She had referred me to a wonderful pain management Dr.!) instead of insisting on treating it alone.
I have had regular sessions for two months now with Dr. Colaizzo. And though I am feeling 100% better than when I first walked through the door, I plan to continue my treatment for maintenance to keep a healthy spine!
I highly recommend The Chiropractic and Therapy Center if you are looking to improve or maintain your health!

I love this place. I went in with neck and mid back pain from a car accident back in Dec of 2014. Everyday that i go i am gettn better and better. The staff here is awesome. Thank you for making me feel better.
