At The Corner Vet, we know the foundation of keeping your pet healthy is attaining a thorough medical history and performing a complete physical examination. Veterinary medicine has veered away from these two critical pet care services and has come to depend on expensive diagnostic testing. That is NOT what we are about at The Corner Vet. We will talk to you about any concerns you have and ask important questions to be able to understand how to best take care of your pet. We will do a complete 'nose to toes' examination and explain to you, in terms that are easily understood, what is found along the way. Together we create a healthcare plan that you need and can afford. We administer only the highest quality of vaccines available, living up to our promise of providing you high quality care and service. We follow the vaccination guidelines of two of the most respected groups in veterinary medicine: The American Animal Hospital Association (for dogs) and American Association of Feline Practitioners (for cats). We check for parasites as directed by the Companion Animal Parasite Council, and follow their guidelines for prevention using the best medications available at the most affordable prices possible. Preventative care shouldn't be considered optional; it should be considered ESSENTIAL care. The old saying "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" couldn't be more relevant in regards to your pet's health. Early disease detection will prolong your pet's life it's proven science!
I came in with all 4 dogs at the same time to get shots, nails clipped and mirochipped. They were very helpful and friendly when I came in. They put us all in a bigger room. They took each one back individually and cared for them. All the while the fire marshall was there and was wanting to check and test the fire alarms. I know that it was hectic for them but were good to have the fire marshall wait until all the dogs were done being cared for. After everyone had gotten their shots and whatnot...I checked out and they helped me take the dogs out and put them in the car. I even got a courtesy call the next day just to check up and see how they were all doing.
The staff was awesome and the experience was pleasant. It's my first time owning a pet and visiting a vet. I'm glad my sister was with me, because she knew the terminology, but I'm confident in going back solo because of how nice they were.
Hours on website said 7PM. I got there at 6PM . Really needed Honey Bunny and Matinia 's nails clipped. An associate behind the counter was very rude. She said we're closed and not accepting anymore patients. The associate in the back came up and was very kind and understanding. She took the 5 to 7 minutes and clipped both dogs nails. She got a thank you and a tip. Overall I have always had good expierences at the corner vet.
