My family has used The Family Pet Vet. Hospital since the 1960's. this past experience has been the worst. I asked that Princess have her nails clipped before her Tue, or Wed. health check. Tue. I got a call that she had ripped out a Nail. The next day the story changed to two nails. The check up on the bandaging was to be complementary and cost me almost $40.00, I asked about it and the girl at the counter went to ask ??? came back "no there is a charge" I get a different version of answers to my questions from each person that waits on me. Princess has chewed off her bandage, and is licking the nail, we will be there Sunday for the appointment, but I see no reason to rebandage the wound as the materials can't be good for her digestion.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and willing to adapt to changes. Waiting nearly thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment time was a little annoying.

I’ve been taking my pets to Family Pet for over 25 years. They have always been kind and thorough around issues my cats were experiencing. I’m partial to Dr Hilmoe, of course. She’s been our primary vet for the whole time.
