My disappointment was in the handling of my appointments...I received several texts, emails, etc. confirming my appointment for a few weeks before. I planned my whole day around those two appointments, and only TWO HOURS before my appointment I was called and told that I wouldn't be able to get my pedicure, which was just unacceptable to me. My friends got me these gift certificates to go together. I planned my whole day around those appointments, to arrive at the mall early and browse around. Also, I had a wedding to attend on Saturday, so I was counting on the pedicure. I would not be able to reschedule for several months at this rate based on my schedule, so just calling to tell me my appointment was canceled due to an emergency with the technician was truly unprofessional, considering the prices for these services. The burden should never have been put on inconveniencing me, without any regard for my time. I remained on the phone for close to a half hour, asking to speak to whomever I could, and FINALLY another technician was found and offered to stay for my pedicure. If I could not get both services that day, there should have been some apology in the form of a credit or additional service offered, just as I would never cancel two hours before without expecting some kind of penalty. As for my services, both the massage and pedicure were excellent, I have no complaints about either. However, when I was checking out, it is a good thing that I brought the envelopes the gift cards were placed into-as I paid, I was asked about leaving a tip-and my gift cards included gratuities, which I had to show to prove. That should have been noted so that I wasn't made uncomfortable looking like I wasn't including a tip.
