We consistently do a variety of remodeling projects including Bathrooms, additions, window and door upgrades, kitchens, rot repair, lighting and other items to numerous to list. One of our specialties is resolving unusual problems found in the home. We can surely supply you with the expertise, experience and high quality of work you are looking for. Our locally owned, licensed, bonded and insured company, The Home Doctors Inc. an EPA Certified Lead-Safe remodeling firm, has been in business for 24 years. We employ 6 highly experienced technicians full time and do a two point background check on all of our people at the time of employment. We only hire techs who have a deep knowledge in all aspects of a homes infrastructure. We have been working with building departments throughout the bay area for years and all work is done to code. Our goal is to supply excellent service and expertise to our large client base in the Bay area. We have a multitude of clients who have been part of the Home Doctor family for many years. The Home Doctors have been our "go to" people for fixing and changing things in our house for more than 4 years now. They have done projects large (locating, fixing roof leaks and repairing the interior ceiling; installing a shower fan) to small (paint touch-ups; fixing light fixtures); and will contract out to reliable sub-contractors for any work they cannot do (such as floor refinishing). I have always been pleased with their work. Their estimates are reliable, they come when they are scheduled and work in a timely manner. And they are all friendly and trustworthy.

Seven years after installing windows a number of them still leak black sealant onto the face of the building.
In the spirit of Christmas I will not say what I would like to say about the level of incompetence.

I had some diffiiculty getting an appointment in a timely way but they are the closest Anderson dealers to my town and they were very busy.

We had to have our French Doors realigned to close properly.
Mike did an expert job. He explained everything he did and showed us how to do it as well.
He was patient and encouraged our questions to ensure we understood the process.
He was great and our French Doors work perfectly. He was on time and respectful of our home. We will definitely

1 hr. spent figuring out a plan, then 1.5 hrs. out buying materials after arriving 45 min. late, so slow start but full day's work completing most of requested work. Work appears to very satisfactory as far as I am able to judge. Technician was polite, pleasant cleaned up well when done.
Still waiting for Tapley to visit to assess further work in lower rental unit ( almost 2 mos. since requested ).

They did not show to my first scheduled appoitment when I took a day off from work to be there. Then the service writer did not communicate my issue correctly to the service person and he did not have the appropriate parts with him. For the parts they did have they charged me literally double the price that was on the Anderson Windows website.
Incompetent crooks they are.

As far as the cost of parts, its like comparing a mom and pop store to cost-co, of course we have to mark up the small parts and pieces we sell, or we would be, in effect, giving them away. Hope you understand.
