We are a team of dedicated hair stylists and estheticians who have a passion for hair and skin care. Our mission is to provide to our clients the highest level of full service salon expertise and products. We bring a sense of style and culture to our craft and our clients through continued education.

James Mark Salon & Spa is located in Elk Grove, CA and has been serving our clients for over 15 years. We offer services to fulfill all of your hair and skin care needs. In October 2008 we became a Bumble & Bumble exclusive salon. Founded in 1977 in New York City, Bumble and Bumble clipped, colored, and styled its way to become the "It" brand for hair, creating extraordinary products with the help of a legendary editorial team and strong desin ethic. In August 2019 we brought Kerastase to the salon. Founded in 1964 in Paris, Kerastase creates bespoke products and treatments that satisfy the desire for exceptional hair. Kerastase has created technologically advanced, specialized products to meet every hair and scalp need.

Our skin care lines include Obagi Medical and Jan Marini. These brands provide a daily skin care system for every skin type. Our estheticians will work with you to create tailored solutions to fit your skin's needs. We also provide all spray tan services and body waxing to leave your skin silky smooth.

James is an exceptional artist. I have a professional career, and it is very important to me to maintain a professional appearance. I have had my hair cut and colored for several years by talented stylists from San Francisco to North Carolina, and places in between. I have yet to experience someone as talented as James. The hair products he recommends are also superior!

I was told that it be $225. And once done I was never told that they will charge me $320. Bucks my color is not the same missing patches of cooler when I went back they told me it would e me anther $50.buck to fix my color
This is a big ripoff never going their again think twice before going there anyone that loves it here

My Family and I saw Julie and Brittany yesterday. Brittany did my eye brows and Julie did a cut that has been long over due!! Two years growing it out and she went in with experience and kindness!! After several bad experiences with waxing I had some anxiety. Brittany is not only is a perfectionist but she is patient, gentle and on point! I hope to have found my forever salon!!!

When I spoke with the staff to schedule the appointment, she told me that IF the dr required x-rays there would be a cost of $40. When I saw the Dr. he made it clear he does not work with out his x-rays. So the consultation actually cost $40 and it includes x-rays. Because, regardless he was going to require his own x-rays. I had x-rays done in February or March by my chiropractor, I was told he only adjust patients after evaluating the x-rays. So I intentionally left the paperwork completed so my x-rays could be requested from my chiropractor in Los Angeles. I needed an adjustment. I am still in pain, so obviously there has not been much change to my body that the x-rays would be extremely different. , In addition to that, I moved from LA to Sacramento. and have not had an adjustment in two months. I figured those x rays would be a relatively recent and could be used to by Dr Hanson to evaluate me. they were not, he didn't even have his staff request them. i am not in a position to pay for x-rays every three months. I understand the evaluation purpose, but I also know there is a physical evaluation, that I will know what is working when i am having regular adjustments and treatment. I felt very much dismissed by Dr Hanson. Honestly, I have been in pain for the last year, and have made certain changes to adjust for it. Is it a cure, no, but I am not in enough pain to seek assistance from an office that I came for help, but when i left I was more upset than when I came in. My mom has been seeing Dr Hanson and his decompression equipment has made a difference in her life and health, That is something not every chiropractor offers, so I understand the advantage he has over other offices. Maybe I will return at a later time. I am torn with continuing the care at his office. At this time, I will continue to see my Dr in Los Angeles. My insurance will cover several more adjustments.
