Kura Door has always been a treat for me, I have always loved going there rather than a spa that only provided treatments and no extras like the robes and slippers, quiet rooms to decompress and sauna and steam rooms that Kura Door provides. It is those extras that I feel warrant the higher treatment prices. Three of us went yesterday and all enjoyed our treatments, but the place was PACKED! I could only stay in the sauna a few minutes before needing to leave so that others could use it. Then, after my massage, I wanted to sit in the tea room, get some tea, enjoy the moment and wait for my friends to finish their treatments, but again, there literally was no where to sit! Every seat was taken and several people had to stand to wait for treatments. I had to wait to change in the dressing room -- couldn't get to my locker. I don't think I'll go back. There was nothing peaceful about my pre or post massage and so I'll chose and recommend to others a less expensive option where you are sure to get a good massage and aren't paying a premium for waiting in a room, in a robe, with too many other people.
