The only thing that I did not like was that the doctor didn’t came out to speak with me face to face. They should change that. No matter what we still human and would like to have contact with the doctor.

Phoenix, our beautiful Australian Shepard, developed an issue with coughing to the point of gagging. The specialist at SVRC worked with us and treated Phoenix. She was conservative with her treatment plan and prescription meds. We added inhalation treatment at home just like a person suffering from asthma. Phoenix was an exceptional patient and improved dramatically. We will always be thankful for the staff and excellent doctors at SVRC for their straight talk and compassion.

Omg when my other vet told me of my cherished dachshund’s medical problems I knew the the only the place he was really safe was SVRC. I don’t know what I would do without you.

We're very thankful for the care our Winston received from SVRC. The technicians and doctors all showed lots of care and concern for our ailing dog and we're very glad we had SVRC near us to get him feeling better while we were on a vacation from out of town.

Nina went to doggie heaven today. We put her down at home. The knowledge and resources available at Pet ER are excellent. Good medicine costs money so not going to complain about price. I would say this facility and these professionals are only going to be available to folks who will part with substantial money to save their pet. Nina was very sick and at 15 we decided that her chance to bounce back to a good enough quality of life, was slim, not good enough for us because we loved her too much. Dr. Carro is brilliant I am pretty sure. But she lacks empathy and bedside demeanor. I am ok w/that except for the part of not being realistic enough re: future outcome potential and some empathy would have been a little soothing when we needed it most. This was not extended, at all. I wish our dog had more youth and a better opportunity to benefit from the excellent care provided - she did improve slightly but not fast enough due to underlying conditions. The communication is a weak link in the chain. When the internist is treating and not there, there is no information made available not possible to ask, no one covering while the internist is off duty. Why isn't there a back up internist given that the regular trauma vet seemed pretty busy and could use the help. My recommendation is high on quality and expertise and low on communication and client interaction. The receiving vet Dr. Dorsey was wonderful but immediately transferred our case to the Internist - Dr. Carro. The front desk felt to me like mean gate keepers for the most part with some exceptions. They're too happy to have clients out of their hair and waiting in the pkg. lot if you ask me. So my feedback rating # is mixed with a high for care quality and low for communications and client relations.
