After waiting 2 hours to see a doctor with my cat's leg dangling behind her, someone finally came out to ask me if I wanted her ashes or not. I told them I wanted to consult with a doctor before I put her down. They were uncaring and do not listen I ended up taking my kitty to Knowles on Northwest 27th avenue and had her leg amputated. And she is just fine today. Knowles was awesome. They cared and gave me great service.

I took my four year dog to Southwest and was told by the doctor he had a herniated disk and I needed to go the a neurologist, which would cost between $3500-$4500. No x-ray or other options were provided after we asked numerous times. All they cared about was sending us to the neurologist. To make a long story short we took the dog to a Vet and an x-ray shows he has an issue with his spine (not a herniated disk) and was medication was provided. In my opinion Southwest did not care about my dog and all they wanted was to push the neurologist on us.

I had a tragic experience coming home from vacation to find my 17 year old cat dying on the floor in my house. I immediately took him to SVRC as it was highly recommended by my local animal clinic. The second I walked into the clinic, every staff member gave their undivided attention, rushed to help my cat and assess what was going on, while front staff treated me with the upmost respect, kindness and with more empathy than I expected was possible. We ended up having to put my fur baby to sleep and the vet and entire staff remained kind, empathetic and supportive and comforting during the process, which was a seamless, easy, quick, and very humane process. They treated me and my cat with respect and love the entire time from the moment I walked in until I left. They truly made an awful experience far more comfortable.I highly recommend for anyone who wants the best care for their pet in any circumstance and I will always remember this traumatic experience with fondness of the staff at SVRC and how they treated me, my cat and the awful situation so graciously. I’m forever grateful to them!
