The 3 star rating does not reflect the massage therapy service itself, which was excellent! I was scheduled for a side-by-side appointment and received a call 30 minutes before that the other therapist's car had broken down. I do realize that life happens, but unfortunately no other therapists were able to cover the appointment. Sapphire did offer to schedule 45 minutes for myself and my spouse back-to-back but this isn't the same as a side-by-side massage. They did work with me to reschedule and offered a credit for a future appointment.
The other issue I ran into was a price increase on massage therapy services. For those clients who receive massages frequently, an email or other communication about the increase would have been nice. It was not a huge increase, but a $5-10 increase is a noticeable difference for most people.
Lastly, I was told that therapists no longer have BioFreeze and are using Aveda cooling oil instead at the end of massage services. While I do like the cooling oil for nasal passages, etc., the BioFreeze worked so much better on muscles. Please bring it back!
