I was very happy with the service provided to me.
I do not like your cancellation fees; 50% is very, very steep. I understand why you are implementing this policy, but a flat $20 would be more tolerable. Doctor offices typically charge a flat $40 fee for cancellations, and doctor visits vary even more so than salon visits and are a lot more expensive. If I have scheduled a cut and color that's $105, and you are expecting me to pay a $52.50 fee for an unforeseen cancellation under 24 hours notice..........? I am reconsidering continuing my services at your Reed Manning Salon only for this reason.
I completely understand where you are coming from. After much thought we felt that a percentage was more fair than a flat fee due to the various services we offer. For example, for a 15 minute/$15 brow wax a $20 fee seems unfair. At the same time a 3hr service/costing $300 doesn't seem to be compensated by a $20 fee. Of course we understand that there are extenuating circumstances that may occur preventing a 24 hour notice. We would consider each cancellation individually. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. We are working hard to make each client have an excellent service and experience to match.
