Earlier this week I experienced severe pain coming from one of my molars. I called Thornton Dentistry and explained to one of their professionals my situation. They urged me to come in right away. I told her when I could come in and she said they'll be waiting for me. Remember, this was a last minute emergency. I arrived around 1:30 PM. The receptionist greeted by my first name, asked how I was and said it will be only moments before they could see me. Two minutes it was. I was led to one of the exam rooms and sat in the patients chair, I wish I had a chair as comfortable. In the background was 70' music, Dave Taylor and Carly Simon singing together (one of favorites from the 70's). The tech took an x-ray and Dr. Thornton greeted me and asked about my tooth. He looked inside my mouth and reviewed the x-ray. He told me I needed a root canal (three to be exact). Bottom line Dr. Thornton and his staff made feel comfortable and took all measures to avoid inflicting pain during the procedure. They worked on my tooth for an hour or so - again unplanned time. This AM I am virtually pain free. Great job TEAM. Oh, because of the expense of the procedure that I did not plan for I was able to pay what I could at this time and pay the balance on my return trip. KUDOS to Thornton Dental Care and ALL the team members (that I came in contact with yesterday):Amy, Carla, Lydia, Mandy, Jennifer and Dr. Thornton., Thank you!
