Doctors and nurses are always courteous and professional.
Staff at the reception not so much. One person is pretty professional, the other seemed like she would rather be elsewhere. Another doggie/patient peed in the office and that staff person took several minutes to walk into another room to bring her a single tissue paper for the patient's mom to clean it up. This was a medium sized dog who peed, so 1 tissue was nothing. Plus, when you bring your pet to the vet, you have so many things going on, the last thing you need is trying to figure out how to clean the mess without any support from the staff. The pee stayed there, had splashed, there is not bathroom for people to wash their hands after... I was displeased by seeing this lack of care from the staff on this matter.
First let us begin by saying just how sorry we are to hear of this unfortunate situation that occurred in the waiting room at your last visit. It certainly does not meet the standards of client service we expect from our staff to provide and that our clients have come to know and appreciate. Please know we have a specific way of handling the inevitable pet accidents which occur, and using a tissue to half clean it up certainly does not meet our standards of cleanliness. In fact, we can proudly say that we clean and sanitize the facility on a daily basis to ensure our hospital looks and smells clean at all times. Rest assured this situation has been addressed with the specific staff member to whom you referred.
We greatly appreciate your kind words of support for our doctors and technicians. We look forward to seeing you and your pet again. Feel free to contact the office manager if you have any other questions or concerns.
