Tidewater Dental Prince Frederick has handled our dental needs for many years. Recently, I had to have a procedure that I thought would be very uncomfortable. That was not the case!! My hygienist even called the next day to see how I was doing. Great service, great staff.

I was the first to check in 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment after the doors opened and the last to be called for treatment, 10+ minutes after my scheduled appointment. In spite of that disappointment, my semi-annual clean and check, including X-rays, was done expertly and carefully. The piped in music was louder than usual - okay during treatment - but it made it difficult to hear the doctor during his initial greeting, especially through his face covers. The hygienist did note the difficulty communicating, and turned the music down. I have been going to Tidewater Dental for 20+ years and highly recommend it.

I am very disappointed. My assessment and cleaning was great. Some work to my teeth was recommended so I agreed. The prep work for my crowns was horrible. The teeth became very sensitive during the procedure. They were not sensitive before. They did not hurt before this and were not sensitive. The temporary crowns were ill fitting and hurt. The dentist did not do this. The assistant did all of the impressions and placing of the temporaries. One of the temporaries did not fit well and the assistant was not able to get it to fit properly. I was told it could be because I was very numb and I could come back if it did not. Needless to say it did not work any better once I was no longer numb. I was in the chair for over 2 1/2 hours and just wanted it to be over. This was on a Thursday, I was not able to go back Friday and left for vacation that Saturday. I could not chew properly until the actual crowns were put in. The crowns fit better but after a week, the teeth are still very sensitive to any temperature of food. Very disappointed and will not be back.
