I feel like the dentist and assistant did a great job with the filling and making the patient feel comfortable.
I have no training in dentistry so I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the assistant started giving the patient laughing gas BEFORE I gave permission. At the cleaning appointment I originally said no, but at the last minute changed my mind and the assistant seemed to kind of push it. Apparently, she would have given the laughing gas anyways regardless of my consent. I am kind of a hippy mom--four babies with no epidural and I think twice before giving my kids any sort of medication. If the staff gave laughing gas before I gave consent, what else is being done without my consent and knowledge?
