We gave this customer a senior discount as requested because he paid with his mothers credit card and an additional 10% off plus knocked off a few hours on the total bill. Mr. Schwartz opted to be charged on a time and material basis and insisted on providing his own materials. He then disputed the time we charged to make several trips to get the supplies. I was out of town upon completion of this project and it took a few days to sort out Mr. Schwartz's Complaint. I'm not sure reducing the charges was appropriate as it seems Mr. Schwartz has given us a poor review anyway. This job required several trips as the materials had to dry between coats and we log our time as we provide the service. It is our standard operating procedure to charge the credit card we requested on file at the time of job completion. This project was completed well below the original estimate and additional time was refunded in an effort to satisfy Mr. Schwartz complaint. We stand by the quality of our work and when we have any issues we accommodate to the best of our ability. I do not appreciate the review as we did more than enough to satisfy any issue regarding overcharging. Unfortunately, sometimes you cannot please people no matter what you do. In this case we have made every effort and obviously failed. I am grateful we rarely have complaints. I wish things could have worked out better with this customer as I really do not respond well do this type of complaint.
