An old metal-lined crown had to be replaced, & two cavities cleaned up, so not a fun appointment. But I'm very happy with the way it was done, and especially the result!
Dr. Rhoddi (?sp?) and her assistant Yazmin (also ?sp?) were both excellent. They explained thoroughly, they worked efficiently, listened to my feedback, took care to place the soft plastic device holding my mouth open & tongue out of the way as comfortably as possible for me. Yazmin took good care to see that I got an extra application of lip balm, whenever I asked. There was some bleeding, I could taste it, and feel it, especially when Dr. Rhoddi cleaned up the excess cement on my new crown, but that is better than having later rough surfaces or too tight fit between teeth or tiny bits of cement wear off in my mouth. So I really appreciate the work & extra time to get it done right!
Dr. Rhoddi warned me my mouth would be sore after the numbness wore off. Happy to say, she was wrong! I had no soreness at all, even though I forgot to take any acetaminphen, my pain reliever of choice.
And Dr. Rhoddi really did finesse the perfect fit and look of my new crown. I was able to floss normally later that night, and I'm very happy for that! Thanks, Dr. Rhoddi! And Yazmin! Sorry if I'm botching your names!
