Total Foot care Podiatric Medicine & Surgery is a Personalized Care Facility. Our doctors: Dr. Richard S. Cohen, D.P.M and Dr. Lion Sassoon, D.P.M are board certified and licensed podiatrists in Greenbelt, Maryland. Our practice specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of all foot and ankle problems for both adults and children. Also, please be aware that we have just finished a complete remodel of our facilities for your comfort and enjoyment. Dr. Cohen's Happy Feet Store allows our patients the ability to browse and purchase professional grade podiatry products not available at various retail outlets. These items include but are not limited to various types of padding, topical medications, bandaging materials and a variety of inserts for shoes.
We provide a complete array of foot and ankle services including at risk foot care, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, sports medicine, dermatology, orthotic fabrication utilizing computer technology, and digital x-rays. Our doctors have completed extensive study in this specialty and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest medical innovations and surgical techniques.
Our goal is to educate each patient and begin a relevant treatment program with the highest quality of care available. Whatever your foot and ankle problem, we'll work together to find the solution that will bring you comfort and relief. Our qualified staff is friendly and will ensure a pleasant visit. We have been located in the same location within the medical community for more than 30 years. Our office hours are designed to accommodate the needs of our patients and in most cases we offer, same day appointments for emergencies. Dr. Cohen is a wonderful doctor! He takes his time with you and does not make you feel rushed unlike some physicians. Dr. Cohen explains things in great detail so that you understand what is going on and is always upbeat! The front desk staff was friendly however, I do wish the young lady who assisted me was more attentive and detail-oriented. She was on her cell phone a couple times while providing patient care; When I had walked up to the counter she seemed to be more attentive to her phone than me and another time when she was conducting my foot scan. She seemed so distracted that she didn't realize I was a patient wanting to check in.
