Total Lawn Care began as a very professional lawn care company. They were on-time and consistent, always leaving a nice looking lawn. We employed their service for 3 months before we encountered a problem.
However, one evening we arrived home, on a day that Total Lawn Care came and mowed our lawn, and noticed the glass on our french door was shattered. There was a clear spot where something, presumably a rock, had hit and shattered the entire door. We called Doug, the owner of Total Lawn Care, but he didn't answer, so we left a message and gave him a few days to return our call. At this point we weren't upset, things happen...it is just a window, and considering we never saw his company break the window all we wanted to do was discuss the situation. After 3 days with no return call, we called again and let Doug know about the window over voicemail.....no return call. From that point we called once a day for almost 2 weeks with NOT ONE returned call. Then, Total Lawn Care stopped showing up to mow our lawn, without notice.
Ultimately, windows get broken and things happen....but reputable companies return phone calls, don't avoid good paying customers, and attempt to resolve situations. Reputable lawn care companies carry insurance to cover situations such as this. Ironically, I received an automated message from Total Lawn Care asking for me to review their company....well, here ya go!
