My appointment with Dr Roy Cohen yesterday (1/20/16) far exceeded my expectations in every way. Even though he was recommended by my sister who is a longtime patient, during my time with Dr Roy I was his ONLY priority. I found him to be the most knowledgeable, thorough, kind & compassionate physician of any specialty that I have had an appointment with in my 60 years on the planet! I say this without reservation. I am a registered nurse with many years of experience in dealing with doctors & Dr Roy Cohen tops them all !

His exam was extensive, but I never felt rushed, plus time for Q&A afterward was part of my experience. If you are looking for a doctor who really cares, make an appointment to see Dr Roy Cohen today. I'm sure you'll be glad you did! Thanks again, Dr Roy, Margaret Gagliano, R.N.

I've been a patient with them since 1977. From contact lens to eyeglasses, they have served me well. I highly recommend them especially with contact lens fitting. Dr. Marshall Cohen prescribed my first pairs in 1977 and the firm continues to provide great services. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. And the staff at the office are very friendly.

Have been a patient of Dr. Ettinger's for over 20 years. He is a great eye doctor, but I had such a frustrating, bad and unnecessary payment experience with the people running the office I will not return or recommend any more patients to them.

It has been 4 years since my last eye exam and I had such a great experience that I assumed that this time would be the same. Boy was I wrong! I was seen by a "Dr." Rubenstein who holds the title for conducting an eye exam in less than 10 minutes! Not only was he unprofessional ,cocky and rude but it was real clear that he does not care for his patients. He rushed me out as quickly as he rushed me in! Then he had the audacity to tell me " you don't have get everything done in one day!" What??? I was so infuriated by his lack of professionalism, his un apologetic manner towards me that I was left questioning the reputation of the practice. Basically I wasted my time going to this appointment b/c I have to go again to do the second step of the exam which should have been done that moment! I have it one star because the practice does have an excellent receptionist and clerical staff who accommodated me immediately with another doctor . The secretary was very sympathetic and apologetic and even managed to out a smile on my face. I will never recommend this place to anyone unless that doctor quits.

Today was my first day going to Town Optical. I saw a new doctor named Rima T. (don't know how to spell last name). I never had an exam so thorough in all my years. She found something wrong that has been there and no other eye doctor has mentioned this to me. She is very kind and very concerned about her patients. Town Optical is the best!!
