My family has taken both of our dogs to Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital! They always take great care of our pups. The staff is friendly and helpful! The team also makes sure they do what they say in terms of picking up medicine without having to go into the office!

I trust Dr. O'Neill with my dog not only because of his longevity in the business, but the way he interacts with her and me each time we go in!

I would recommend Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital to anyone who asks!

I highly recommend Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital. My senior dog needed his teeth cleaned. This was our first visit and I found the entire staff caring, professional, and put great trust in their advise.I was impressed by the time taken to prepare Scout and follow up he received . I will make this my future Healthcare provider for my furry friends.

My dog Buddy was clearly in pain, tail down, so something was bothering him, he kept whining and turning around quickly and sitting with a worried look on his face, not wanting to eat or walk, and his cute face that had a worrying look said “you need to help me now, this is bad!”. Of course it’s 3 days before my wife and I leave on our honeymoon, no kidding. So my wife and were freaking out because we haven’t had the best experiences with urgent vet medicine in Richmond, not to mention thinking “well covid already ruined our honeymoon once, guess this will be postponement #2” . I called Tuckahoe veterinary hospital, and Dr O’Niell himself called me back 10 minutes later. He accurately diagnosed the problem OVER THE PHONE, told me to bring him in, 10 min later I’m there, 45 seconds later a super quick procedure is done, (impacted anal glands?) and Buddy is back to his normal self. Bing bang boom. I was so ready hours of waiting, uncertain diagnoses from inexperienced doctors, hundreds of dollars in fees, and before I even realize, it’s over - I sat in my car just stunned, it was so quick and easy and Buddy was all better, it was awesome. The staff was great, and Dr. O’Niell is a gosh darn national treasure. Seriously, if some newly invented “immortality serum”was invented and I was on a Senate Subcommittee that got to determine who in the country was so valuable to society that it was in the country’s best interest to prolong their life and health, this dude would be on the list - AND he’s a nice guy. If I were President I’d be like “Hey bad news Dr. O’Niell, you’re too valuable to us, so I can’t let you retire, I’m afraid I’m gonna have to federalize your position for the good of all our pets.” Like some 5 star general that is always able to be called up. Anyway this guy is the real deal 10/10

Dr. O'Niell always gives our cat excellent service and his first priority is always the wellness of our pet. This trip was no exception. He showed great care and evaluated what would be best for our cat. We've been going to Tuckahoe Vet for seven years now and have never had a bad experience.
