My honest review: I went to Meaghan for a haircut. She was a sweetheart and i enjoyed chatting with her during my visit. She did a great job on my haircut and gave me a conditioning treatment. The staff were all very nice. The salon is beautiful and clean. I had some disappointment with the hair washing. It wasn't the nice, calming head massaging wash Aveda is known for. It felt a bit rushed and "average" (haircuts are expensive but I dont mind paying more for the "luxury" care and I just didn't feel that this time). I was not offered any water or hot tea or any of the pampering I remember from past Aveda salons (not sure if that is still being offered due to covid? But i missed that delicious tea). Overall, I was happy with the haircut but it lacked the experience Aveda usually provides. I've been an Aveda customer since 2005, even in Germany while we lived there and Tulip salon has been my least favorite so far in terms of the overall experience.
I still gave 3 stars for over-all but it could've been 5. I give Meaghan 4 stars for the cut. I can get a great cut that I'd be happy with for alot cheaper in other salons but i have grown to love the Aveda experience so I was excited to get back into an Aveda Salon (the last time was in Germany, 2017) I hope next time will be better. **I visited the Tulip Salon in 2012 and I wasn't happy enough with my haircut to go back again due to price and distance. I can't remember who I saw then.
