Buyer beware...added charges. I was extremely disappointed in my last appointment. I will not be coming back. I feel that there is a huge lack of attention to detail that I would expect from this caliber of salon and a "master" stylist. I came in to have my roots done. There was not much of a conversation except I stated that I wanted the new color blended with my old. Last time there was a definite line. I wasn't feeling well which I stated right in the beginning so I wasn't interested in extra services...ie $30 conditioning treatment $50 "trim" etc. John seemed annoyed that I didn't want added services although he did recommend highlights which I agreed to. They did not come out that well...again a definite line where they start. I like to have my highlights blended and look as natural as possible. They shouldn't look like I had them done at Fantastic Sams. He also is sloppy and got dye all over my face at the hairline (several inches!)
On top of all of that, when I went to check out I was charged for a haircut ($50) which I didn't receive! When I questioned the charge I was told that it was suppose to be a $35 charge for a "style". John blow dried my hair with a round brush...I would assume that blow drying my hair would be included in my $90 root touch up. He never mentioned that this was an added service.
Jackie was wonderful as usual. I love how I feel taken care of when I visit Salon Agape. They offer a warm or cold beverage, plenty of magazines to choose from, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable.
