The last couple times we took cars in to for simple service ended up in extensive, expensive repairs. The first job went from a simple oil change to nearly $2000 worth of work. The second job ended up costing over $3000. Both times within a week after the additional work was completed, we got notices that additional service was due on the cars which wasn't brought up at the time of service. I won't say the repairs weren't needed, it just turned into much more than expected both in cost and time. Once we decided to have the additional work done we were told when the cars would be available for pick up, and made plans accordingly. In both cases we were told after work had begun that they got the wrong parts in, which required leaving the car for an additional day. They appear to do good work, and I do appreciate that they inspect the vehicle for additional issues. However, the additional problems encountered when they do the additional work does not reflect well on the company.

I brought my car in to have the oil changed it was taken into the garage quickly and the inspection was done and they let me know what was needed, the the whole appointment took about an hour and I was on my way. They were professional and very pleasant to work with.

Tyler Automotive-Tigard stands behind their commitment for customer satisfaction. My old '93 Jeep cooling system was a bear to fix having had to bring it back three times.Tyler mechanics didn't give up until all repairs were fixed without any extra charges or cost to me. Dave was especially helpful during this whole process to insure my transportation needs were met while my Jeep was in the shop, following up with me continually with progress reports and by being honest, fair, respectful and considerate. I plan to do future business with Tyler-Tigard for all my auto care and repair needs. I highly recommend them. They can be trusted!
