I had a very important work meeting at 1pm and had told the doctor. Despite that she was hell bent on selling me frames and went way over time. It felt very uncomfortable that she was not agreeable to using my existing frames because my insurance covered new ones. If only she would put patient’s choice at the forefront!
She was also unresponsive when asked to explain the change jn power and to help read the final measurements. It felt hurried and dodgy. I would not recommend.
I am sorry that I started your exam 5 minutes late, but when we finished the exam, it was at 12:30pm. When I asked if you had time to look for glasses today, you clearly said yes. The reason I recommended you to get a new frame is because your insurance fully covers it without any additional copay, and your current frame was in a bad shape. It's not true that I was unresponsive when you asked for the change of your preion. If you recall, I printed your new glasses Rx, and we went over it together. Again, I apologize that I started your exam 5 minutes late, but I don't think it's right to have you use your bad condition frame instead of telling you can get a new one at no cost.
