It was an overall Great experience & I have no complaints . The staff was very helpful & answered any questions that I had. Dr Ware has wonderful bedside manner & takes the time to be helpful in every way. He is always so very professional!!! I would highly recommend him & his staff to my family & friends. Sincerely, Teresa Murphy
Everyone was very sweet and patient with my questions even though they were clearly busier than normal. Dr ware and his staff apologized multiple times for long waits but it honestly was not an issue. The lady who did The majority of my testing was so sweet and easy to talk to. She explained each test and made The whole thing super comfortable. The girl who helped me pick my glasses was honest about looks and price-greatly appreciated.
I have been going to this practice for 4-5 years. I started out seeing Dr. Coates, who was awesome. After he left I had to see Dr. Ware. My wife and I had appointments scheduled simultaneously. She was done and waiting 20 minutes before Dr. Ware figured out he had forgotten I was in the exam room. Then he rushed through my exam like it was a bother. I accepted that he was short staffed. The following year, the same treatment. It was just a cattle drive to see how fast he could get the herd through. I cancelled my appointment this year because I expect an optometrist that cares and wants to take the time to get it right. My wife returned 3 times trying to get her prescription right. He acted as though she was crazy. She ended up at a competitor, who got her squared away after taking time to listen. It is no wonder that the other doctors he hires do not stay long. I am sure they dislike that atmosphere just as much as the clients.
I felt like I was being sold on different deals instead of the Dr Lowell giving just me guidance and options to let me make the decision on my own. I went in to the office wanting to get a simple procedure done and I did leave without the procedure (plugs) because he was being so pushy. When I let him know I was going to hold off on my decision to get the procedure, his face expressed annoyance and aggravation. After that I was no longer a priority to him and I felt as if he was pushing me out the door. He insisted on me getting a years worth of contacts when I told him I only needed 6 months worth. So I did get a years worth and had to pay more than I wanted to on that day. I just didn't feel like a priority as a patient of his and definitely felt like "just another patient." I wanted to give him my business very bad: nice office, good location- however he gave me a reason not to. I will be looking for another Optometrist. I do hope this feedback will help. Thanks.
