About
Originally the site of the first school house in Pembroke and a 250 year-old barn, these two structures were joined together 29 years ago. The complex has experienced many changes over the years and the integrity of the structure has intentionally been preserved keeping its rustic authenticity, giving Utopia Place a warm country feel.
In 1982 Marie Goldman started Personal Best Ltd (renamed Personal Best Salon and Utopia Day Spa in 1998 - the entire complex is called Utopia Place) as the first truly full-service day spa on the South Shore.
