Had a great time. Enjoyed using the online booking system and had a great appointment that was right on schedule. The stylist, Lauren, was great and took time and care to give me advice on my hair, styles that would work for both my look and lifestyle and products that would help me even further. Was very satisfied. Only comment is that it is a large salon and the whole online system, including multiple reminder emails and two requests for reviews within 24 hours of my appointment, is a little overwhelming and gives a sense of Mcdonaldization. I wonder if by the process being so organized and perhaps micromanaged that the experience hasn't lost a bit of the authenticity and personal service that I personally enjoy when getting my hair done. You could tell the stylists (not mine) were nervous about ticking the boxes and maintaining their professional image - and I would've enjoyed if they were a little more relaxed. They're clearly incredibly talented and I'd love if they felt more at ease to be themselves, flaws included :)
