This clinic is a lovely facility! Filled with a wonderful staff to match. Their friendly and eager to offer to help as soon as you approach the desk. Making it quick to get you in and out even though their a busy place, everything is incredibly well organized and everyone is always smiling! Most important, the medical care is top notch! They have all the most updated medical equipment needed on site to take care of my pets needs in house. This gives me great security knowing all my pets medical care is going to be right here at home, at Valley Animal Hospital with the most knowledgeable Vet Ive found , who has helped me with my pets. Dr. Bill Poage’s experience is envaluable here. I couldn’t recommend him more!

We were (are) looking for a new veterinarian after moving to the area. We called around to several places. The staff at Valley Animal Hospital was great, initially. I called on a Saturday and spoke with David. He was very helpful, professional, informative, and provided outstanding customer service. My husband and I discussed our options and decided to set up our initial appointment (it definitely helped that it was free). I spoke with Taylor to set up the appointment. He was just as great as David had been a few days prior. When we arrived, we were greeted by several very friendly staff members. However, when we met with the veterinarian, she was absolutely dull and unprofessional. She did not make eye contact with me or my husband the entire time. She sat with her elbows on the table and her chin resting on them as she spoke flatly about the way animals can die from various diseases/conditions (I.e. heartworms). She never asked nor allowed the opportunity of explanation of our education regarding the matter. She also never recommended alternative treatments for any condition. The doctor should possibly consider further education regarding lab testing, especially in regards to heartworms and other parasitic conditions in order to provide more accurate and detailed recommendations for those seeking a more natural, healthy, or longterm treatment of such conditions.

They try to take your animal to a different room to conduct the exam. We refused, and they did the exam in the room so this really wasn't an issue. We would have left on the spot had they not conceded to allow us present for the exam.

Also-the exam is "free", but they charge $5.00 for an alcohol pad to clean the thermometer after checking rectal temperature. The medications that they sell at this location are also marked up considerably in comparison to other offices in the area and online stores like 1800 pet meds.

Bottom line: You get what you pay for. We will never be back.

Taking good care of a pet can be expensive. Entrusting my pet's care to Valley Animal Hospital is a good value. Using their Whiskers Club program means I know I am getting everything my pet needs at the best price. Plus I can check out worrisome issues without additional expense. And I can count on Valley to change to less expensive preventatives when possible without compromising quality. It is so wonderful knowing I can put my faith in Valley Animal Hospital. Thank you.

I am so very pleased with Dr. Pogue and every single member of the staff. I have trouble walking and the staff was so gracious in getting my cat from the car and returning him after the appointment. Dr. Pogue was excellent in that he was patient and gentle with Kirby (cat) and he explained in detail what was going on and the possible prognosis. I felt so happy and was glad to have Kirby in his hands. Anne Hite

Good visit. Quick but not rushed. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. The staff went out of their way to try to find a frame that I wanted. Questions were answered completely and with good grace. Not something that happens everywere. Thank you.
