As usual, I had wonderful experiences at Van Davis Aveda! My pedicure with Deedra was so relaxing and perfectly and professionally done. After that Mariya colored and styled my hair,and I was absolutely delighted with the results! I always feel so special when I visit your salon!

As a PA transplant I was a nervous wreck wondering who I was going to go to put highlights in my hair. I had been going to the same Aveda Salon in PA for close to 20 years. Knowing how well trained Aveda stylists are, I looked up Aveda salons in Wilmington and Van Davis popped right up. Thus I called and made an appt with them. The nerves continued as I drove up from Southport. I have seen some horror stories with hair color and was asking myself if I’d made the right decision. To assure you, I did. From the moment I walked in the door til the moment I walked out, I couldn’t be happier. The salon itself is beautiful, the front desk exceedingly warm and welcoming and the stylist did a fabulous job with my highlights. I am thrilled and know I have found a home. I highly recommend Van Davis.

I always enjoy Courtney and the care she takes with my hair. However, on my last visit, which included color, I noticed that there was a client in between me and the client after me. I understand that it makes sense to work with another client while processing but it seemed to me that she got behind because of that. The client after me had arrived and was waiting in the chair next to me. It felt as if Courtney felt that pressure and could not spend the time she usually takes with my cut. I don't want to imply in any way that this was Courtney's fault. She is always wonderful. But I left feeling pressured myself. At that price I am not sure that I want to repeat the experience.
Thank you for your feedback! Booking appointments during processing times is fairly standard practice for most busy stylists. It is their best practice to see as many guests as they can reasonably manage. It is entirely possible that the guest following you may have arrived early as we do allot appropriate times for all scheduled services and Courtney is exceptionally efficient as she is an extraordinarily gifted stylist. We never intend that anyone feel rushed, so please accept that this is an anomaly, not the norm! We do appreciate your feedback and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
