I'm very unhappy with the haircut. The stylist while nice and professional was inexperienced with either afro-american hair, curly hair or quite possibly both. As a general rule I believe curly hair is meant to be cut while dry. This stylist cut it while dry and again while wet and continued cutting to over-compensate for some fairly glaring mistakes like the fact that she didn't know how to fade properly.
I tried to stress that the cut was more important to me then the style (stylist do their best but I usually end up restyling my hair at home) when I got home I found my hair to be so many different lengths, it looked like a child cut it.
It is extremely uneven. The back is very choppy. Can't pull it back. No ponytail options here.
I live in Seattle. I went all the way to Tacoma because I was told I'd find a stylist experienced with afro-american hair there. This was not my experience.
I called to reschedule with someone else, I was given the option to pay for another haircut. Beware, if you are not satisfied with Vasuda styling service you won't be satisfied with their customer service either.
I paid $105 for the privilege of looking like my middle school year book photo.
I always did wanna look youthful.
Be careful what you wish for.
The shampoo chair was nice though and the peppermint tea hit the spot.
