I've been a client of Vasuda for about 4 years now, and have had appointments with level 1, 2, and 3 stylists. I have always been happy with my service (usually a pretty simple cut and flat iron), though the staff can be unprofessional at times when the owners aren't around.
This last appointment, I treated myself to highlights, and the usual cut and flat iron. I came in with two pictures, one showing the cut I wanted, the other showing the highlights. My hair is usually worn naturally curly so my haircuts are usually cut in the curly form then flat ironed for style. This time, the stylist cut my hair while strait and offered a touch up cut if I am not satisfied when it's curly. (Okay, I guess). When my service was complete I wasn't elated.... to have spent a pretty penny damaging my virgin hair with color that is barely noticeable is just disappointing. She went for a much more conservative tone than my request (which was already pretty conservstive in my opinion) and again, I was told that I can schedule another appointment and we can add more color. I hate leaving bad reviews, but Im sorry, I feel like a $200 service with a level 3 stylist should be a guarantee of satisfaction. If the color I wanted couldn't be achieved with one appointment it should have been communicated, however my gut is that the stylist just wasn't paying enough attention.
