I have been going to this salon for years, but my long-time stylist left. So, I tried someone the receptionist recommended. I booked an appointment for a cut and single-process color. Without anyone saying a word, the cost of my appointment nearly doubled! The only explanation I got was it was a “virgin” application (my grays were long) and they needed extra color.
If the cost was going to increase that much, the salon and/or stylist had a responsibility to inform me. I would have skipped it and gotten my color taken care of elsewhere. As for the extra color... I walked out with shoulder-length hair, so that’s just ridiculous!
