I have been going to this salon for years, but my long-time stylist left. So, I tried someone the receptionist recommended. I booked an appointment for a cut and single-process color. Without anyone saying a word, the cost of my appointment nearly doubled! The only explanation I got was it was a “virgin” application (my grays were long) and they needed extra color.

If the cost was going to increase that much, the salon and/or stylist had a responsibility to inform me. I would have skipped it and gotten my color taken care of elsewhere. As for the extra color... I walked out with shoulder-length hair, so that’s just ridiculous!

This salon is great - it’s close to my house, it’s well kept, and I got a great haircut. I was disappointed that this time my trim was $68. I know the scale is $43 - $68 but in the past my trim was $43 or $45. Paying $68 for a trim was too much.

I loved the dry cut option. It takes all the guessing out of how your hair will look once it’s dried. Katie did a great job. She was very sweet, precise, personable and knowledgeable about my hair type and what would work best!

I gave this review 3 stars because I was disappointed that I had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen, and no one on staff said anything to me until I approached them. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early, so I ended up waiting 40 minutes before my appointment actually begun. It sounds like it wasn't the stylist's fault and that they didn't give her enough time for the appointments she had. Still, I did not appreciate it. I have been to this salon before and never had a problem, so it was too bad this had to happen. I just think if you know you're going to be running very late, the absolute least you can do is communicate this to your customer who is waiting.

Sam is superb. She is a caring individual who gives as much attention to her clients as to their hair. I feel relaxed in her chair and trust in her overall skills.
