Although our wait was long (felt longer with an anxious dog sitting on my foot...) I was happy with the compassionate care Champ got. I like coming there with dog and cats. Everyone is friendly, and people remember Champ's likes (spray cheese) and dislikes (having blood drawn.)

We (my cat and I) went for our first visit yesterday. The staff was very friendly and forthright about their costs and services. Their recommendations were helpful and the hours of operation are accommodating to my work schedule. I had been recommended by several clients and was not disappointed by their service.

Attentive staff and doctors. One of my cats had to undergo a dental work (extraction) and after visiting and consulting several places in Ithaca, I decided to go with the Veterinary Care of Ithaca. Both the doctor and technician were knowledgeable and most importantly, they welcomed my many questions and listened to any concern I had. The staff was open about the expected and actual costs of my cat's dental surgery. After the procedure, they made sure to schedule a check-up appointment. They also did a good job: my cat lost one tooth but he's a happier cat now! Both of my cats are patients at the Vet Care of Ithaca, one of them even got his microchip here.

I am fully satisfied with the quality of the care my cat has received at Veterinary Care. Everyone has always been extremely communicative, friendly, and supportive. The only reason I am not rating my experience as "excellent" is the cost - I just spent a month and a half's rent on my kitty's dental work, and she had dental work done a year ago. I know that it's costly everywhere you go, but it's still unbelievable to me that I have to pay as much for my kitty's dental as I do for 3 months' groceries.

The doctor and the rest of the staff were very kind, caring and thorough in treating my cat, Lily. I felt all my concerns and questions were addressed.

The staff are always willing to discuss a condition or treatment in detail, either in the office or on the phone. We may not always be eager to pull out all the stops treating a newly adopted kitten's digestive issues, but we appreciate knowing about all the options. We weren't made to feel like bad "cat parents" because we opted for less treatment (for the sake of the new kitty and our pocketbook). With time and probiotics, the kitty's bowels settled down. Now we're hoping she won't need the probiotics forever (or that we can find a less expensive source).

The place is always spotless and efficient. Prescriptions and refills are ready fast, and interactions with staff are unfailingly friendly and professional. Another reason to be glad we live here!

The best staff and veterinarians! So thankful. Plus, Dr. Barnes has done all of my pet's surgeries and they were without a doubt huge successes!

Every member of the staff has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable during my visits. My cat had mouth surgery here, and the staff kept me updated with each step.

I brought my two kitties in as new patients recently. The staff was very gentle and accomodating to my pets during the visit and answered all of my questions. I have been continuing to work with the staff as both kitties needed to have teeth extractions! The entire team is helpful and friendly and their genuine love for animals shines through in the care that they give.

I look forward to future visits to keep my pets happy amd healthy with this office.
