Katie came in for dental care. In speaking with Dr. Bratton prior to the procedure, we discussed the lipoma on her hip. We decided (his idea and a great one!) that the one on her chest was a larger issue. I have wanted that one gone - and since she was sedated for the dental, it was a good opportunity to remove it.
The lipoma was more vascular than he had anticipated (don't let me paraphrase his words) and thus it was a good idea to remove it before it made inroads into her muscle. I just remember the invasive lipoma that was removed from Jake's shoulder.
I am pleased as can be that the dental did not reveal any requirement for extractions, and that the nasty lipoma is gone.
Dr. Bratton did good! I enjoyed our pre-release briefing and thank him for caring. Sean said he was an excellent surgeon. While this dental and lipoma surgery was pretty routine, to me, it was the best! Katie says thank you - or o do for her.
