Dr. D'Amico was great with Norton and so patient with all of my questions and concerns. We went in on an emergency visit early in the morning and even though his shift had ended - he stayed the extra couple of hours to finish treating and caring for Norton.

We miss Dr. Nations, but really like Dr. Hoggarth. Most experiences at VHA are very good. Except the night I took my pet to the Vet because she was passing a lot of blood and she is small. We had to wait over an hour and half. I thought my baby was going to die. The only other person waiting, advised his dog seemed better and they were leaving. He drove over 1 1/2 hours to get there. I know my baby will get good care at VHA, even though it's very expensive. But, I guess you have to pay for the best :)

Staff is great but ,prices are so high its always hundreds of dollars. Many test performed and meds given. Some vets higher than orhers. Seems like prices should be set at a reasonable rate so that people when they're coming there for an emergency with their fur baby they can at least feel like they can afford it.

Dr Langer was so caring and loving and truly concerned for my cats best interest. When surgery was needed, Dr Ruddel was just a compassionate and caring. She called after the surgery and again when my cat came home to see how he was doing. She also checked in 4 days after being home.

I have been a long time client of CHA. Over the years we have had our Carin and Westie and now our other Westie in your care. I appreciate the ability to have a walk in appt same day. What I am not a fan of is the extra surcharge based on time of day. This last visit really made me think. I arrived no one in the main waiting room and a lot of exam rooms were open. BUT I had to pay the extra fee??? I respect if 8th ings are booked but appeared that I could have been accepted without fee. I am concerned that things at CHA are looking more like a business than the caring Vet that I have known over the last 15 years or so. We knew Dr Maxwell and valued that model he had. Just stating to feel more like just a number. We always value VHA being there for us and our pups.

Another thing that took us away from VHA was when we had to put our last Westie to sleep. When I came for her remains the front desk team member just have me the remains. No condolences or compassion I felt. That was why we left VHA for a brief time. Dr Henry Thomas our long time Vet and friend was the only reason we came back. I know this was about our last visit BUT feel compelled to express my concerns. Appreciate you taking the time to value my feedback

All the staff treat our pets as if they were their family pet also, very caring!
