Vision results are obtained, but compared to larger more established or advanced shops, not much current technology is in use. It is an aged practice that is in much need of newer equipment other than just a new coat of paint. The phoroptor machine has broken exposed wires to lighting that does not work. It is likely not needed anyway. No eye mapping or measurement equipment is used here to obtain more precise results. Routine eye health exams are not a major focus of this practice. They get the job done, but it seems in low tech style.
This patient came from a very advanced practice that worked in leading edge developments. Its likely an unfair comparison.
