It took 3 weeks to get on the books for an appointment. I arrived 15 min before my appointment. I was checked in 15 min after my appointment scheduled time and then I waited until one hour after my appointment for my exam. I was up charged for my contacts exam In Addition I was charged two co pays plus the up charge for contacts. I pay $10 for an exam. I paid about $40 in copays. I’ve been wearing the same kind of contacts for 10 years. The frames are priced double versus any other place nearby. The wait times was quoted at one month to get my glasses. I’ve been coming here for more than 10 years. Last year my glasses were ordered incorrectly twice and I gave up and just didn’t come back. My time is valuable and limited. While I like the staff, the wait times are too long. It took 3 hours of my workday to get a prescription. It was $400 with good insurance for a pair of average glasses. This did not include contacts. In the past I had very similar frames and exams and Vision City never charged me more than 200 after insurance. I felt I was over charged, my time was not respected and the wait for my glasses to come in is way too long. I was told my last prescription was way off, I got it here. I haven’t been able to see for a long time. The wait times have discouraged me from coming in since 2019.

My experience with Dr Martin and staff was excellent, as always!

I was having an issue and needed to get into Dr. Allen quickly. She had a cancellation that day so I was able to get an appointment. She was thorough, answered my questions, and clearly explained what was going on with my eyes. Also, she told me that even if there hadn’t been a cancellation, she would have worked me in. She’s been my doctor for quite a few years and I appreciate her caring, thorough manner.
