It was my first appointment with Dr. Bestwina and I was more than satisfied. She answered all my questions and concerns about my eye health and am more than happy to switch to her as my doctor at Vision Institute.

I did experience disappointment and frustration at the reception desk. I was treated curtly and felt the receptionist didn't have a confident grasp of the appointment scheduling. Two specific examples were when I was checking out and scheduling my annual appointment for 2019, She originally was going to schedule it a day or two short of a year, which would have prevented me being able to collect what little insurance I am able to get to cover an annual visit that would fall within the same insurance year. It was a struggle for me to get her to look at a date in the following week (making it over a year) of 2019. We finally got it settled and she did write me an appointment card with the date of 5/29/2019. Then I received a call from Vision Institute that I had an appointment for 5/29/2018 and if I didn't confirm the appointment it would be canceled. I called and informed them they had the incorrect year and again the receptionist argued with me and stated it was my error. She had also switched me from Dr. Bestwina to another doctor at the other location. We eventually did get it corrected but I was so frustrated that I almost wanted to find a different place for my vision care. Please get the receptionist at the north location appropriate training on the scheduling software and customer service.

Excellent Service, Great Eye Doctor.

However, when sitting down with the glasses salesperson, I was given some purchase options for "package"

purchase options and the "upgrade" for lenses etc.

As a business professional, I find it "VERY, VERY ODD" to have the prices written down

on a yellow "post-it" note! Seriously, is this what you send potential buyers home with? A yellow sticky note?

I was in a year ago to have my eye examined at this same location, great exam. However, reflecting back I can

remember the same experience.

Just thought you'd want to know my experience.

Tina was very nice, but did not ask any "closing" questions or involvement questions to stir my emotions to

want to buy. She did not ask me if I was happy with my current glasses, what type I liked or was looking for.

It seemed like she was an order taker.

I'm in sales and everything is about customer involvement and emotion for purchase. Sales people need to learn

to ask involvement questions and be "genuinely" interested in the client in order to make a qualified sale.

Order takers work elsewhere.

This was my first appointment with Vision Institute and I thought it was great. The physician's assistant was very nice and thorough. The physician was great and answered all of my questions. She helped to get me a referral to further check the swelling on my nerves and headache issues. Thank you for listening and being so helpful!
