Dr. Michael Peterson loves what he does! He enjoys working with people. Before becoming an optometrist he was genetic researcher, he quickly discovered that when you talk to a petri dish it doesn't talk back. He's a people person, so optometry was an easy choice for him.
Excellent communication is one of his strong points. To improve his interaction with his Guests, he trained with Toastmasters International for three years to achieve the Advanced Communication Bronze award. You'll find he's easy to talk to. He'll listen to your concerns and expectations and do everything possible to find solutions to improve and enjoy your lifestyle.
He graduated cum laude from Southern California College of Optometry in 2005. Since graduating he has helped over 15,000 patients enjoy clear and healthy vision. He practiced medical optometry with an emphasis in glaucoma and dry eye syndrome and recently served as Clinical Director at a LASIK surgery center in the Northwest. He's an active member of the Draper-Riverton Rotary Club and enjoys supporting this wonderful community. He has dreamed of establishing an optical and eye care center that does not compromise on product quality or service. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I was 20 minutes early to my apt. and I was created at the door by the Doctor, who shook my hand and asked my name and we went right into my exam. This was my first time at Visionology and the fact that I had to fill out ZERO paperwork was awesome! I will for sure continue to visit Visionalogy in the future!

Dr. Michael Petersen and his staff were incredibly courteous and extremely helpful. I went in to get new glasses and they walked me through the process and made it enjoyable. They took the time to make me feel at ease. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Visionology is by far the best eye care center I have encountered. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. They greet you with a smile and do whatever they can to make your experience with their office as easy as possible. Dr. Peterson is very welcoming. He listens to what your concerns are and does his best to help you get the right prescription for your vision needs. He takes the extra time to make sure all of your questions are answered and that your eye exam is thorough. They fully back their product line. if you are unhappy with your glasses, they do whatever it takes to fix the issue, even getting a new pair made to your satisfaction. You cannot go wrong by going to Visionology. I guarantee you won't want to go anywhere else!

I loved the service (Saturday hours are awesome). Friendly staff, dedicated attention from the doctor. The glasses (3 pair) were ready in about a week. Good selection of frames. The lenses are far better than I imagined.
